A detailed receipt will be provided after each session for your records. At this time we do not accept insurance. Clients are responsible for submitting these receipts to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Please note that not all insurance companies accept claims for psychotherapy provided by Registered Social Service Workers.

Coverage may vary depending on your insurance provider and specific benefit plan. It is recommended that you contact your provider in advance to confirm your eligibility for reimbursement.

Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:

  • Does my plan include mental health or psychotherapy benefits?

  • Are services provided by a Registered Social Service Worker (RSSW) covered?

  • Do I have a deductible to meet before benefits apply?

  • Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?

  • Do I need a referral or written approval from a physician?

Payment:

Payment is due 24 hours before each counselling session or session will be cancelled or rescheduled.

E-transfer payments can be sent to: Simone.mentalhealth@hotmail.com or payment can be made through our online Jane Platform.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a full session fee.
